Noah’s Ark (Genesis 6-9)
Plot: Pooh (Noah) gather pairs of animals for the ark, finding them throughout the Hundred Acre Wood. Tigger bounces around, finding exotic creatures, while Piglet frets about fitting them all on the boat. They ride out the storm, learning about obedience and patience.
Lesson: Obedience to God’s instructions and caring for creation.
David and Goliath (1 Samuel 17)
Plot: Piglet takes on the role of David, facing off against a "giant" (Tigger playing a friendly giant). With his friends’ encouragement, Piglet conquers his fears and defeats Goliath with a clever plan.
Lesson: Even the smallest can be brave with faith.
Daniel in the Lion’s Den (Daniel 6)
Plot: Pooh, playing Daniel, is thrown into a pit filled with lions (played by plush tigers or other forest animals). Pooh, instead of being afraid, offers the lions some honey, and they become his friends. He learns about trust in God even in scary situations.
Lesson: Trust in God’s protection and kindness can win over even the fiercest challenges.
The Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37)
Plot: Rabbit rushes along his usual routine but comes across an injured Eeyore. At first, Rabbit is too busy to help, but he learns from Pooh (playing the Samaritan) how kindness and stopping to help others is the most important thing.
Lesson: Love and help your neighbors, even if it means changing your plans.
The Creation Story (Genesis 1-2)
Plot: Pooh and his friends hear the story of creation. Together, they explore the wonder of the world being made day by day.
Lesson: The beauty and wonder of God's creation.
Jonah and the Whale (Jonah 1-4)
Plot: Eeyore, playing Jonah, tries to avoid doing what God asks (he’s too gloomy to think it will work), but after being swallowed by a big, friendly whale (played by Tigger and Room covered by a blanket), he learns the importance of following God's plan.
Lesson: You can’t run from your responsibilities; following God brings peace.
The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32)
Plot: Tigger, playing the prodigal son, leaves the Hundred Acre Wood for adventures in the wider world but realizes he misses home and his friends. When he returns, Pooh and Kanga throw a big celebration, teaching Tigger about forgiveness and love.
Lesson: Forgiveness is always available when we return home, no matter what.
Moses and the Burning Bush (Exodus 3)
Plot: Rabbit stumbles across a bush that’s mysteriously on fire but not burning up. The bush (voiced by Owl) teaches Rabbit that he has a greater purpose than gardening, leading his friends on a mission to help others.
Lesson: God calls each of us to a higher purpose.
The Feeding of the 5,000 (Matthew 14:13-21)
Plot: Pooh and his friends come across a large gathering of animals, all hungry, and with only a few honey jars and bread to share. With faith, they manage to feed everyone, with plenty left over for their picnic.
Lesson: Faith can multiply blessings and there’s always enough to share.
The Battle of Jericho (Joshua 6)
Plot: Pooh (Joshua) and his friends bring down the walls of Jericho by marching around it. They trust that God’s plan will work.
Lesson: Following God’s instructions, even when they seem strange, brings victory.
Elijah and the Ravens (1 Kings 17:1-6)
Plot: Pooh, hungry for honey, is in the wilderness, but ravens (played by his friends) bring him food. He learns that God provides in surprising ways when we trust Him.
Lesson: Trust that God will provide even in difficult times.
Joseph’s Coat of Many Colors (Genesis 37-45)
Plot: Tigger, with his brightly colored stripes, plays Joseph, who goes through trials but eventually rises to a position of leadership. His friends initially tease him but later come to admire his persistence and faith.
Lesson: Perseverance through hardship leads to blessings.
Jesus Calming the Storm (Mark 4:35-41)
Plot: Pooh (Jesus) and his friends are caught in a storm while on a boat in the river. Pooh, trusting in God, calms everyone down, and the storm miraculously subsides, teaching his friends not to fear.
Lesson: Faith can calm even the most troubling storms.
The Story of Esther (Book of Esther)
Plot: Kanga, in the role of Esther, bravely stands up to protect her friends when the villain (played by a mischievous Rabbit) threatens their safety. Kanga’s bravery saves everyone, teaching the importance of courage.
Lesson: Courage in standing up for what is right can save others.
The Wise and Foolish Builders (Matthew 7:24-27)
Plot: Pooh and Piglet decide to build houses—one on the sand by the river and one on the rocks near the hills. When the rain comes, they see which house stands strong, teaching about building on a strong foundation.
Lesson: Build your life on strong, faithful foundations.
Jesus Walks on Water (Matthew 14:22-33)
Plot: Tigger, known for bouncing, excitedly joins Jesus on the water, trying to bounce across it. With Pooh’s encouragement, Tigger learns to focus on his faith rather than his fears, and he’s able to walk a little on the water.
Lesson: Trusting in God allows us to do incredible things.
